On probability, and informed a little extra by your profile, you're a white male who makes above the national average salary, probably quite a bit above based on your active participation in curling, not a very accessible sport. You're on Lemmy, which by probability means you likely work in IT or tech or programming or similar. So I'm pretty god damn confident I know enough to know you haven't sacrificed shit and leaving the country would be as big a bitch move as is possible to make.
