I really wish Republicans would draw a line literally anywhere. But they keep explaining away every unhinged thing their leader says.

If a Democratic president said any of these things, Fox News would initiate pearl-clutching immediately, and Republican lawmakers would start impeachment proceedings the next day.

Youve touched on something to keep in mind right now. What are the dems doing to stop this? Is there a real opposition movement in the so called progressive party yet?

I'm sure Schumer has drafted a strongly-worded letter.

If anyone can fuck up the response to this, it's the Dems.

There does seem to be a small contingent of Democratic senators who are looking to remove Schumer from his leadership role. I hope they succeed.

Depending on the Republican in question, but I'd argue they draw plenty lines regularly, though most of them are a powdery white...
