no, fuck you. if people are like "I like the super mario movie!" and another person is like "actually it's terrible fanservice slop", that's when this comic is appropriate. But in this case, people are upset because april fools is full of bullshit lies and people rightly don't like being lied to just because it's a silly day.
Unlike every other day where the Internet is the bastion of truth and reality.
At least then the lies have reason. It's fucked up reason, but it's reason.
April fools day is FUCKING LYING FOR THE EXPRESS PURPOSE TO FUCK WITH PEOPLE AND LIE FOR THE SAKE OF IT.
And notebly shit like this actually can cause real problems. Iv seen April fools jokes cause thousands in lost dollars because of stock swings due to this bull shit for example
People ACTUALLY get hurt over this crap too. It's REALLY fucking annoying.
If you find yourself falling for these kinds of jokes then you may need to reconsider how you evaluate news.
Have people always had his opinion? I swear I've never seen pushback for April Fools joke articles in the past. Hell, they were anticipated because of fun ones like Blizzard.
Anything you can think of, there's probably a whole group of people who hate it.
You probably stay away from people like that in your real life, but through the magic of the Internet they get to sit in your living room and yell at you to stop having fun.
People get hurt on Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas too.
