In trying to excuse the USSR's outlawing of homophobia and paint it as "Super Gay" (because they greeted each other with a kiss on the lips) the tankie goes on to defend homophobia in Victorian English society by saying it was "phenomenally gay"

Ugh and then they'll defend China and then if you criticize their trash attitude towards gay people, you're both racist and pinkwashing because you're weaponizing queer identity.

I once pointed out that other countries have much better laws protecting and defending equality for gay men, and the response was "yes and those countries will be seen as 'reacrionary in the future'".

Tankies, am I right?
