!gaming is a community for gaming noobs through gaming aficionados. Unlike !games, we don’t take ourselves quite as serious. Shitposts and memes are welcome.
Our Rules:
1. Keep it civil.
Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only.
2. No sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or any other flavor of bigotry.
I should not need to explain this one.
3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.
Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.
4. Try not to repost anything posted within the past month.
Beyond that, go for it. Not everyone is on every site all the time.

Bruh, why is this meme suddenly everywhere? Wtf happened?
Edit: What the fuck, why does it make everybody look like an entirety different character? Who at Nvidia looked at that and went "yeah, that's perfect"?
Jensen Huang (I know I probably misspelled his name, but fuck that guy and any perceived respect he doesn't deserve)
The same person that started dlss 1.0. everyone gave him shit. Dlss 4.5 looks amazing.
Same thing here. 5.0 is shit, but 6.5 going to be amazing.
In order for it to NOT be shit, it's going to need to be trained on different visual styles - which will utterly balloon the model size. It already takes a whole second GPU to run. Otherwise, everything that uses it will slide towards a single, generic pretty-people style.
If you WANT your game to look like airbrushed plastic surgery obsessed models with flawless makeup, then go hog, I guess - but I'd rather different games have different looks, myself.
And this isn't going to take away different looking games.
It will move the slider towards a single generic look. It won't make games all look identical, but it WILL reduce the amount of individuality of styles.
