I really should just delete all my Lemmy accounts, after the reddit exodus this place just turned into reddit 2.0
That's unfortunately a side effect of this type of UI, upvotes and downvotes inherently cultivate a hive mind mentality, making following the meta more important than critical thinking. If you make a clone of Lemmy I guarantee you it will follow the same path eventually
