Did you just sleep through the 2025 and 2026 elections (so far)?

You know, the ones where Donald is losing districts he won by double digits in 2024.

It's pretty clear, objectively, that most people don't like what Donald is doing and the gas prices have nothing to do with it. (at least until a few days ago) I'd argue it's reflective of the fact that people didn't necessarily want Donald, they wanted change, any change, from an abundantly shitty Biden presidency that left them significantly poorer.

No, but I saw many people in 2024 not vote. Because they didn’t care… so we got stuck again with Trump. I guess I am very cynical too as I grew up in the Midwest… the wins in 2025/26 are nice but democrats keep voting to fund the government for the GOP so nothing has changed since 2024 is how I see it. I can see for sure folks wanted a change but at the same time a few moments to look at Trump would tell you that he was not change.
