It won't. Queensland has a unicameral parliament, so it can only change if the current government does a complete 180 (not going to gappen).

But the power always goes to the heads of conservative Premiers and they go too far, which inevitably leads to them losing the next election badly.

Last time they lost there were so few conservative members elected they could have all carpooled to work.
