Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Limit of two posts per person per day.
- Bots aren't allowed.
- Banned users will have their posts removed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

No, we're not arguing semantics.
Just like you know what species means and what subspecies mean and that using them doesn't mean we're discussing the species problem.
We know that a subspecies and species are two different things and a species is every different from a completely different species than a subspecies, which is not too different from it's subspecies.
Lemmy is a forum. Communities are the communities on this forum.
When I browse all and have three of the exact same posts at the exact same time, that's not because of semantics. It's because of spam.
And you don't even see you're doing it. To me anyone with your lever of rhetoric is illiterate. And that is a semantical argument.
The crashout isn't entertaining anymore. Usually I let people get one last reply in before I block them, but since I know how much getting the last word in means to you, I'm just going to go ahead and block you now
where are the fucking mods
There is but one, and they're probably offline rn. Hasn't been active in weeks. Still report this user. Maybe report them to lemmy.world too, since they literally violated their TOS when they intentionally spammed me with 10 copies of the same comment
Oh yeah sure.
I've gotten that reply a million times. Not one of them has blocked me when they said they did.
You just say you do, so you can imagine that you've got the last word, when you're just a quitter who runs away with his tail between his legs.
