DoW is still not the legal name. All they did was change a plaque and some letterhead, not the law dictating it's existence.

interesting, had to look it up and you are half correct.

it still is officially the DoD, although there was an executive order stating it can legally be referenced as the DoW too

The executive has no actual authority to change the name of a department. So I am fully correct.
