I truly appreciate photographers who include their camera settings. This is gorgeous, he looks so peaceful. Out of curiosity, what made you pick ISO250? It's dark enough that you could have gone a little bit higher.

I shoot in manual and because of the snow, also spot metering. My ISO is auto. I was a little off with my shutter speed.

I think the shutter speed was just fine. I can practically feel the texture of his fur just by looking at this picture. It's really good!

Thank you, I've been working on getting the sharpest photos out of my budget lens and I think this is pretty close to its sweet spot. I could have dropped the speed to 1/640s to hit the ISO 200 sweet spot, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it. This is pretty close especially while using spot metering.
