Remember when that walking botched dick enhancement who did the seig heil dragged a sink to some function as a "let that sink in" moment? Fucking ruined and poisoned the colloquialism.

Oh no, we just recycle it into meaning “I’m a massive pos (lying/cheating/… fill that in as you like) who has an attitude while being wrong and detrimental to society/this planet.”

When there’s some dangerous sexpest asshole at the door you sarcastically say “oh sure, let that sink in”. (And then you don’t of course)
