Drow in the Drizzt series are at least constantly killing each other, which justifies it somewhat

I think a lot of DnD players forget that there are whole planes/divine realms filled with nothing but elves tbh. I don't think dwarves have one (planes they presumably get allowed into Moradin's realm). Seems a little unfair.
