I've just finished a 1.0.0 release of Auditorium!

I built this primarily because my script I use to play my local files was held back severely by the speed and lack of data structures from POSIX shell.

Auditorium features vim-like key binds, completely offline play via MPV, genre, artist, and title querying via ffmpeg, built-in fuzzy finding, automatic playback, and a hot-reloading theming configuration to allow you to pick your desired color scheme.

Installation instruction and dependencies are in the linked Github page. If you find any bugs, feel free to create an issue - I intend to keep this supported as I use it every day.

Basically, looking for hardware that's open source that runs or can run on open source software, that controls PC fans, led lights, and or water cooling pump systems.

Something like this but that's already available: https://shop.sasakaranovic.com/products/openfan-pc-fan-controller

Ideally with GUI but not necessary if there's no option

I would classify this as a matlab alternative. Plot stuff. Do Matrix calculations with direct (syntax) support in the programming language.

Hello Lemmy,

With this release, bluetuith now has initial cross-platform support, and works on Windows. Windows specific instructions are here, tl;dr install haraltd and bluetuith together.

There are no new features introduced, only other optimisations and bug fixes for Linux.

I hope you enjoy this release, and any feedback is appreciated.

General Information Bluetuith is a TUI based bluetooth manager for Linux, that aims to be an alternative to most bluetooth managers, and can perform bluetooth based operations like:

  • Connection to and general management of bluetooth devices, with device information like battery percentage, RSSI etc. displayed, if the information is available. More detailed information about a device can be viewed by selecting the ‘Info’ option in the menu or by clicking the ‘i’ key.

  • Bluetooth adapter management, with toggleable power, discoverability, pairablilty and scanning modes.

  • Transfer and receive files via the OBEX protocol, with an interactive file picker to choose and select multiple files.

  • Handle both PANU and DUN based networking for each bluetooth device

  • Control media playback on the currently connected device, with a media player popup that displays playback information and controls.

VoidAuth is a self-hosted Single Sign-On solution that aims to be easy to setup and use while feeling seamless to your users. Release v1.1.0 brings a few new features I have been working on and am excited about:

  • Passkey-only Users, the option on sign-up to use a passkey instead of a password.
  • Admin Notification Emails, so admins know when they have new tasks such as user registrations to approve.
  • Approval Emails for New Users, so new users awaiting approval know when they have been.
  • DEFAULT_REDIRECT back to your main page for invitations, logouts, etc.
  • and more!

Hey folks! I’m completely new to Lemmy and still figuring out how everything works around here... But I’d love to share a project I’ve been building.

It's called VOID (Versatile Open-source Infrastructure for Developers) - an open-source, local-first second-brain (note taking app but more powerful) application that combines the flexibility of Obsidian with the powerful organization of Notion.

Unlike many other tools, VOID is not just another note-taking app. It’s built with the idea of being a true second brain that you fully control. No vendor lock-in, no hidden cloud, no feature walls. Everything is open-source, customizable, and designed to adapt to your workflow instead of forcing you into someone else’s.

I'm currently building it with Rust, Tauri v2 and Vue.js. For certain plugins and configs, it also supports SurrealDB as a database.

check it out on my GitHub
