I would like to take over or become a mod of !watches@lemmy.ml, since I noticed that the mods are not active, and the modlog shows actions 2 months ago.

I would like to add more info, make pins and generally try give some life on it.

I have been posting in /c/Anarchism for quite some time, along other places. I recently realized I was no longer able to do so. The reason, it was said by someone, is that federated moderation was not working and there were no local moderators for this community, so they locked it down to moderators-only posting. They further invited people to take over if they want. Since I regularly post there, I asked that person what is the workload and that I am considering taking over. They never came back. I recently tried to post and I found the issue was not resolved. So, is it still possible to take over moderation of /c/Anarchism, and what would the requirements be?

Pretty much what the title says. I cannot promote the alt as mod as my current account is remote.

https://lemmy.ml/c/indieheads has been without a mod for what looks like over a year now and I'm interested in trying to turn this into a real community and viable alternative to r/indieheads a community I've been a part of and was once a moderator of for several years. I'd like to inject some life into this community. Thanks.

At lest according to their post and comment history. But the community is very active, and gets a lot of new posts regularly.

Mod's account seems to be deleted. I want to make it a community of generative (non-AI) art, similar to r/generative

Someone suggested to post here about absence of moderation from !opensource@lemmy.ml. As a former moderator on reddit and since many months on my own instance, I‘d help with deleting spam for the foreseeable future and general moderation if needed. Admins, feel free to hit me up. Have a good one.

The current account of the admin is either banned/inactive. So, requesting adminship of !bangladesh@lemmy.ml

The mod there, MerchantsOfMisery@lemmy.ml, hasn't made a post in a year, so I figure they're inactive.

Mod hasn't been active in 6+ months. I'm Iowa local, and want it to succeed.

0 posts on the community, and community owner hasn't been active in 6 months. I think this could help people who don't feel good with how they look.

My goal is to allow image posts every 3 months, so if someone wants to do a progress post, they can - with the safety net that we won't let 2 people spam the community.

Mod never posted. I would like to add a few things in the sidebar such as counter of subscribers.
