A simple place to ask real questions about Canada, culture, regions, daily life, history, and all the odd little things that make this country what it is.

How it works: If your post is a genuine question about Canada or Canadians, you can just post it. No approval needed.

Basic expectations: Be respectful, stay curious, argue in good faith, and don’t spam.

I saw a new MeidasCanada video with Charlie Angus sitting inside Molly’s Reach and it actually surprised me that the place is still around. I always assumed it had disappeared like most old Canadian TV landmarks.

If you watched the video, what did you think of seeing that place still operating in 2025? How many still people remember the Beachcombers?

When you tell your doctor about drinking, smoking, exercise or your diet, how much of that stays in your medical record in Canada? Can those notes ever affect the care you get in the future?

I’m wondering how much honesty actually matters here and whether lifestyle notes quietly shape decisions later on.
