1. Who can participate?

Anyone with an account that was made before april 1st can vote. You do NOT need to be a member of Lemmy.world.

2. How do I vote?

You can reply to any comment or post with the command !lemmySilver. You can only vote once every 24 hours, and you can't give one user 2 votes.

3. Why are you doing this?

Though reddit has many flaws, we believe the yearly april fools event they hold is a fun way to bring the community together, so we want to emulate that here. We think this system is a fun way to encourage creating fun content for the lemmyverse.

4. I found a bug, what do I do?

Please contact [email protected] with a detailed description of the bug, or leave a post or comment in this community. Please note that if we suspect vote manipulation or cheating of rules, this could result in a ban from the competition and / or a site ban from Lemmy.world in very bad cases.

6. How do I whitelist my community? And what does that mean?

You can whitelist your community by doing !whitelistSilver. This will whitelist all communities you are currently a moderator for. From that point on the bot will respond to users typing !lemmysilver in the comments.
