Nudie Jeans is a Swedish company which seems to take fair trade and sustainability (including durability) pretty seriously.

I like how the models on their website are all normal-looking people.

Here's me wearing whatever jeans are cheapest and fit my apparently weirdly shaped body. I wish I had the opportunity to shop jeans by brand :D

Since GAP left europe I'm forced to wear Lewis or not being very uh comfortable...

I have 2 jeans that are european and sort of okayish, one from Monoprix (girl version, the pockets are so shallow you cant even put your phone there) and another french one Le temps des cerises.

Any tips for a tall big person warmly appreciated!

I know I'll get crucified for this but EDWIN jeans from Japan are the GOAT

Came here to comment that I started buying Edwin a few years ago. They wear so much better than everything else I’ve bought in the past.

Interesting I just came across this brand actually - seems more expensive but could be worth if they wear well. Any other nice brands to look at ? I need trousers man

I know where we are but honestly, Japanese denim scene is incredible.

Ahh thanks, I was actually thinking about this last night! I saw jack and jones is European but didn’t think about Diesel. Already seen I shouldn’t buy a replacement for my timberlands unfortunately but I found a brand called jelly and Hansen that has some similar!

Or just buy whatever you want, but second hand. Not only does the manufacturer not get any of your money, but it's better for the environment to. Cheaper as well. Probably my best ever purchase was three pairs of Diesel jeans for £10 each from a local charity shop.

Someone needs to buy new at some point in order to make the second hand market a thing

Oh sure, but the point I'm making is that buying new should ideally never be someone's first choice. If you can't find what you want at a charity shop, ebay or whatever then buy new, but do check first.
