Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I'm getting the hallway decorated. I looked at a million different combos and I'm going for a wall in navy patterned wallpaper, with dusky pink paint walls. Cos I'm in my 40s and single so I can do what I like!

That wallpaper is like something I always low-key wanted but have never dared to actually do yet. The pink is also lovely. So I'm cheering you on for actually living our secret dream!

Haha thanks! Perk of being single, don't have to compromise with anyone

I've been making a 3d vtuber model to use for one of my dungeons and dragons characters, and this week has been mostly focused on her outfit and jewelry. She's got a very fantasy pirate looking blouse and skirt, with a necklace and earrings made with beads, driftwood, and seashells.

Oh wow, she's exactly who I'd pick if I could choose a character. What's her name?

[–] Butterbee@beehaw.org 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Her name's Millie! And she's a bard/sorceress! Focusing on glamour, illusions, and controlling people through song and magic.

She sounds perfect! You've done a great job there

is it sad that the main way I express creativity now is through how I put together outfits? I honestly can't think of many other outlets 🤔

EDIT: I realized I express creativity in my baking & cooking!

[–] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Absolutely not! It's a great way to express your personality and a fun way to create every day.

thank you!! 💕 You're always so nice and supportive 🥰

[–] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 3 points 2 months ago

That's really kind of you thanks dandelion 🥰

[–] Butterbee@beehaw.org 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

No! That's not sad at all. I find it much easier to express my creativity through other outlets but often find myself pretty envious of how creative and put together people make themselves look in person!

[–] dandelion@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 months ago

ah, I have that envy too - perhaps that's part of what feeds my focus.

I'm still learning and awkwardly figuring myself out, but it can be surprisingly difficult to express myself with clothes, a lot of times I feel I need to learn to sew and make my own clothing to create the looks I want 😅

came up with concepts for game design; they might not turn into real games, but fun to think about!

topics, themes, mechanics — anything, really in particular, a game about brewing potions with friends seemed fun to me

[–] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 2 points 3 months ago

That does sound fun!

I cracked a push button combination lock. It's crazy how easy they are to get into
