Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I'm alternative so if it was for work I'd go for a hell bunny blouse (I have this one), plain black tights and boots.

If it was out with mates I'd probably pair it with a cool t shirt from truffle shuffle, adidas trainers and nude tights.

I really like the Hell Bunny blouse for this skirt. Such a vibe.

Yep it would look great!

Never heard of Hell Bunny before, they have some really nice baggy combats and crop trousers, and some of the grunge type skirts are nice too even though I don't wear skirts. They have a Shirley Manson (from Garbage) vibe.... that's how I picture I'd look in them, but I'm too booby and hippy to pull off her look, unfortunately (she is a goddess of cool)

I think I feel a bit of online shopping coming on for some pants tho

BOOTS!!!

Like these...

The answer is always BOOTS!

Mate those are stunning!! Where are they from?

Dr Martens Triumph 1914 Aimilita boots, discontinued, but available via ebay etc. I'm seriously coveting a pair to join my many other BOOTS!

lol, I am so basic, I would probably style it exactly like it is in this pic. Or maybe with a cool tshirt. I do have a cool tank top with skulls on it and cap sleeves, that’s another option.

[–] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 4 points 3 months ago

Basic is another word for classic! That tank top would look great with it

I was thinking a fitted black tank would look nice - the skirt is already sorta narrow and something fitted would lean into that

Honestly this skirt is throwing me for a loop... It's like the exact same shape as the skirts we had to wear in school so my first instinct is not to wear it, not ever, because it will throw me right back to being 15, and give me flashbacks to having to kneel on the floor and use our special skirt-measuring cards to prove it's not more than 6 inches above the knee (yay for posh English girls-only grammar schools 😅). But like I also sort of want to style it in an overemphasized school uniform way. Like maybe with oversized silk shirt, oversized jumper and chunky boots with a bit of heel? Maybe even a cheeky tie, as loose and short as humanly possible?

That's a really cute idea, it's retro and fun.
