I get that it was overly naive to hope for, but it would have been such a nice story if Newey went back to Williams last year instead of to AM and his return coincided with this structural revamp Vowles has been doing and Williams ended up once again becoming a title challenger.

It’s crazy how nepotism almost completely ruined this team. I’m really hopeful they can take another step forward this year

The fact that they’re one of the first teams doing a public shakedown of their car is a huge testament to Vowles’ work given the struggles of the past.

Super keen to see where a well run operation at Williams leads the team to.
