lol these fines are definitely created for Verstappen and Hamilton. Like โฌ120k for swearing a third time thatโs probably at least half the salary of the low paid drivers. โฌ120k fine for a second religious, political or personal statement, yeah thatโs definitely a veiled anti-LGBT, anti-BLM policy targeting Hamilton. Bet nothing will happen if a driver says โgod willingโ or โinshallahโ which is technically a religious statement.
Ohhh geez. If Max loses the championship after losing points to the swear jar, we just might see an assault take place.
Does this apply to driver-to-engineer radio communications as well?
Highly doubt, because it censorable by FIA.
What really is a swear word?
The drivers should make up new words, repeat them, use them in anger often. Encourage others around them to join in.
We need a 2025 New Swear Word Awards!
Actually it's even worse than that. They can't even make up new swear words because they can be fined even if what they're saying is perceived as inappropriate.
Next year drivers arenโt allowed to eat pork and have to pray five times a day. And female drivers have to wear a headscarf.
They should all just agree to swear equally as much.
