I find time makes it easier to grasp.

A million seconds is about 11 days. 1 billion seconds is about 32 years. 185 billion is just under 6000 years.

Horrifying. Also, it's from 2021 - Bezos now has $246B. Zuckerburg has $219B. Musk has more than them combined at $486B.

Imagine having the ability to eradicate malaria and save hundreds of thousands of people per year, and just choosing not to.

To be fair, if they did that, these people would be forced to live only in inexpressibly obscene luxury. And we can't have that.

Someone made a version of this for the Mormon church's obscene wealth as well: https://mormonbillions.com/

That site is broken. It stops at 1 million.

We could all decide to just like... take their wealth. There's no ref that's going to call time out.

As far as I can tell he cashed out and is enjoying retirement, which is really the point of it all, innit?

sold for some millions and spends his time enjoy life on beaches and boats and such. Doing what everyone dreams of for retirement. He could have been a billionaire if he kept up the pursuit of money but he realized he had more than he was inclined to spend even with extravagances taken into account.
