The movies are great!
I was pretty surprised how much i liked knuckles. It's only 6 episodes or something.
Its because you idiots at Sega sat there and didnt do anything cool. You chased trends. We never needed open world. Sonic is about going fast. Haste should have been a Sonic game. Sega should have made those devs rich. But all old heads are fucken dumb and too bloated to "take risks" (also known as do cool shit).

I thought the movies were great. They’re obviously aimed at younger viewers but it felt like there was lots of love in it
I haven't seen them all yet, but they were definitely charming. Plenty of nostalgia for me and the stuff for kids was usually funny or sweet. Really well done.
Take this for what you will, but my dear friend, who is an award winning film maker, whose work is part of the criterion collection, low key loves the Sonic movies
Crazy to think it was actually that bad. I don't feel like the quality of Sonic Frontiers reflects just how make or break the series was at that point in time.
