A place for all who enjoy the art of crochet
Each coloured band represents the genre of a nook I read this year. Purple is fantasy, pink is romantasy, teal is scifi and red is romance. I was just learning to crochet when I started, so I made some mistakes and choices at the beginning I wouldn't now, but it doesn't need to be perfect. This covers the 36 books I read through june, and it's just over 6' long! No idea where I'm going to store/display it when I'm done!

Bobbiverse series: books starts with a random tech-dude that just signed the documents to get frozen after he dies, to eventually get resurrected in the future, shen technology allows. Then very quickly receives a visit from truck-kun. Bite sized chapters, I once described those booms as "fast food" as it's a very easy read that you just don't want to stop.
Old Man's War: Space-Army recruits only old people from earth, nobody even knows why as earthlings have no idea what actually happens outside of earth, even if Humantiy is apparently spanning multiple solar systems. The book follows an old dude joining up. One of my favorite authors. There's I believe 5 to 7 books in the series now fleshing out the universe so if you like it there's more!
Children of time: first attempt from humanity to uplift a species goes sideways when humanity encounters major issues dealing with itself. This book blew my mind. The author has zoology and psychology diplomas, which he clearly draws from for this book. It's part of a trilogy, but I only read the first one for now.
If you end up reading any of those, I hope you like them :)
Bonus: it's a chunky series, but "Dagonriders of Pern" is clearly fantasy with people riding dragons, except the Wikipedia page lists the whole thing as scifi. The scifi is burried quite deep in the series, but since you seem to love fantasy anyways it's probably not a bad thing.
