Never mind actually acting on the information, the tracking, by itself, should be an instant firing offense for every single pig involved!

Yeah I had similar thoughts when I saw this in the article:

The fusion center, housed inside the Philadelphia Police Department, warned that “disruptive First Amendment activity” is an “indicator” of risk from “Domestic Violent Extremists,” an expansive term favored by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.

We really do live in a dystopia

Ai data centers are a much, much, much bigger threat to infrastructure than protestors of said data centers. Talk about missing the point.

You're right, but why would that matter to the police? Just because someone says they care about something doesn't mean they do. When a person or group shows you what they truly stand for, you should ignore their words that say otherwise.

Police exist to protect capital. Once you realize that, it makes perfect sense.

There's no real point to be made here. They're doing this because police's primary job is to work as enforcers for the government and large corporations. They exist to protect capital. All the rest of what they do is to sell the public on the idea that they're heroes standing between the public and pure unlawful chaos.

I mean they want the data centres so they can be used for more surveillance.

If they admit to treason, arrest them and kill them!

Immediately!

Now!

Why would they even give a single shit?

[–] OwOarchist@pawb.social 18 points 3 hours ago

Because, as always, they serve as the attack dogs of the rich.

How else would they track every single citizens real time movement without Flock, Palantir etc.

They're going for a world where Anne Frank can be plucked from her attic as soon as she tries to hide there.
