Upon the House of Fëanor the wrath of the Valar lieth from the West unto the uttermost East, and upon all that will follow them it shall be laid also. Their Oath shall drive them, and yet betray them, and ever snatch away the very treasures that they have sworn to pursue. T'was the light of the Trees that shone in Fëanor's jewels, you kin-slaying ship-burning maniacs, not his own, and his hubris that brought Morgoth and his spider to the Undying Lands and darkened them.

Cursed are the Ñoldor for their ill deeds, and twice cursed the sons of Fëanor and anyone who swears his oath, which only brought darkness and suffering upon Arda!
