Perchance - Create a Random Text Generator
⚄︎ Perchance
This is a Lemmy Community for perchance.org, a platform for sharing and creating random text generators.
Feel free to ask for help, share your generators, and start friendly discussions at your leisure :)
This community is mainly for discussions between those who are building generators. For discussions about using generators, especially the popular AI ones, the community-led Casual Perchance forum is likely a more appropriate venue.
See this post for the Complete Guide to Posting Here on the Community!

4. Only post about stuff related to perchance.
- Please only post about perchance related stuff like generators on it, bugs, and the site.
5. Refrain from requesting Prompts for the AI Tools.
- We would like to ask to refrain from posting here needing help specifically with prompting/achieving certain results with the AI plugins (
text-to-image-pluginandai-text-plugin) e.g. "What is the good prompt for X?", "How to achieve X with Y generator?" - See Perchance AI FAQ for FAQ about the AI tools.
- You can ask for help with prompting at the 'sister' community Casual Perchance, which is for more casual discussions.
- We will still be helping/answering questions about the plugins as long as it is related to building generators with them.
6. Search through the Community Before Posting.

I generated these with my prompt. I think this is what you were going for. Some of them were "cherry picked" as my way of prompting doesn't always work, but these were absolutely generated with my prompt, many of them actually (when I increased the numbers of images). I used some of the AI image model's (a random generator from Perchance) settings like guidance and art style (didn't really help much until I put real human being/photograph in the prompt...bruh moment). No flyaways, no buns :3
I can share a erm vanilla version of the prompt, should get the about the same result:
woman with long and tall ponytail that sits up high on top of head, the ponytail is pulled-back-tightly/slicked back with gel and stretches the forehead. The woman is a real human being. She is in a professional photograph. Avoid styles, increase guidance (try 12-15), and increase number of images (10 is okay, 20 is good, 30 is great, 40-60 is amazing!)
Ahhh, I see someone needs help with the image generator getting to understand the prompt...I could help with that...I have found found my ways for getting the image generator to understand the prompt the way I want it too but I am too afraid of saying it here...and there is a reason why I keep my methods/techniques to myself...but I can show you the results you want with my method (once the image generators get back up and running).
I have never ever shared these with anyone. But since you do need help with getting the prompt to give you what you actually want, I'm willing to share it with you but not in public. I refuse to share it in public because god who knows what would if I released it released...But, anyways, my method doesn't work 100% of the time but for the most part, it gives me what I want.

“Front view of Woman with her hair slicked back. You see a ponytail raised up from behind her head.”

Thank you for trying to help! I should have specified within the "Professional Photo" style, I need to retain a stylistic consistency across various images. When I do that with your prompt, none of them result in a tight style. Of 16, 6 of the images were from the back. Two more were from the front, but with the ponytail hanging in front of the face. All but one had quite loose hair and a fuck ton of flyaways Several had hair buns instead of ponytails, all also loose. Also, I need the woman to be looking into the camera, not downward, which most of the "Casual Photo" attempts yielded. I do appreciate your input though!
Also, this will be incorporated as a detail in a larger description... adding basically any detail to this is likely to wipe it out (color, length, facial features and expressions.) What I am looking for is specific word choices/descriptors that will consistently generate this style. I have used "slicked back" on its own (and repetitively within the prompt) over and over again to no avail.
I am not one to use a very short prompt and accept what is given... that is letting the AI imagine a thing. I want to imagine a thing myself, and have the AI depict it as close to I describe as possible. My prompts tend to be much longer, so complex specificity must be combined with brevity.
Thank you again though!
I can say this:
Try to describe the ponytail this way:
woman, long (or high or long-high) ponytail, raised (high) on top of head, slicked back with gel, pulled back tightly, stretches forehead, painful and tight
That should probably give you the result you actually want.
I gotcha, I work with huge prompts majority of the time. I was offering my first thoughts on a key token structure. Do you have a specific example you could share? I don’t mind doing some testing trying to achieve a better set of tokens to share.
If that’s not tall enough, just add “tall” between ’a’ and ‘ponytail’, it should work. If this isn’t what you’re looking for then I am sorry.
