Omarchy is so bad I'm shocked anyone uses it. Worst of all worlds. The creator genuinely seems like a moron.
Omarchy is for people who can't be bothered to run a Hyprland config script. So sad I'm embarrassed for people to call it Linux.
Wasn't that the one that Framework donated to? Or am I confusing it with Hyprland?
Hyprland is probably the one you're thinking of, as they became a "Gold-tier sponsor" for the project. They have also sent out "large quantities of hardware" to Omarchy though.

That's what it was! I remember there was a reason Framework was on my no buy list. It was mostly because they double downed on it. And that they personally run it is an additional reason now that it's come out it's slop coded too.

I don't really have any problem with the thing by itself, I honestly don't even know that much about it. I just hate everything that gains publicity just because there is a certain name behind it. Which is what happened with omarchy.
Didn't know that it was AI slop as well. That's kinda sad...
