Gotta say, he's hitting the right notes for me.

Yeah, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic. And even if he is bullshitting everyone it's not like we'd miss Collins

or worst MILLs.

The guy sounds reasonable. I'd vote for him for president.

Too bad he's light on specifics here - basically "we have to DO something!" - but his more detailed message includes repeal Citizens United, increase billionaire taxation, improve public infrastructure, fix up and use old homes to create low-cost housing, and other things. Creating an economy of owners and renters and squeezing out the homeowner class has been the trend for decades. It's been called modern feudalism and other things, but it's not new at all, it's making steady progress, and it shows no sign of slowing down.

This type of thing is not for specifics. Ideally, it's to get people who care to look into the specifics. Realistically, it's just a message that sounds good to people you need to vote for you.

Yeah that's why I looked into the specifics myself and told everybody. So it's all working!

They want us enslaved.

Ah but there’s a slight problem with that. I don’t know if they know, but to get even richer, you need……. Customers…. Have they not realised this?

Not yet. Not until they have a stable production chain of robots to replace workers across all fields. Until then, they need 'low skill' workers.

lets hope hes not another turncoat like some other dems that were on a "progressive platform" only to switch immediately after elected.

The Establishment wouldn't be working so hard to crush him if he were a turncoat. Fetterman was an establishment democrat, and now his betrayal is being used as a rhetorical cudgel against Platner.
