Just give me your money. You'll still lose it, but at least I can do something useful with it.

NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.
6) No US Politics.

Actually monero is the only crypto that I consider useful even though it is POW. At least it provides advantages like privacy for its POW. Also there are more and more digital services accepting monero as payment. Bitcoin is POW and gives no value in return. In this regard Etherium is better imo too but still no privacy.
The main problem with monero is that running a pruned node needs like 80Gb of storage.
Grin/Mimblewimble might also be cool but I haven't looked into it too much yet.

ETH is a centralized mess, It's non government CBDC basically

Yes, small price to pay if you want true privacy

I haven't looked into it much either, just learned it from you, it does look promising, take a look at ARRR, the problem with all these privacy focused coins is lack of adoption and they get delisted off exchanges due to government regulations
Haveno, maybe?
