ls it the excess heat from the carriage ACs pumped into the tunnels and stations?
Up to now I have experienced it only on a line running suburban trains underground for a few km at a tight cycle.
They came in from outside hot as Mercury, getting rid of their accumulated heat underground with their ACs blasting at maximal setting.
Anybody from the mentioned cities (New York, Boston, London) here to report their experiences?
