"Precision fermentation involves inserting a DNA sequence into microbes to teach them to produce specific molecules when fermented – in The Every Co’s case, these include proteins conventionally found in chicken eggs.

The company’s OvoPro ingredient can replace egg whites’ functionality in a range of applications, and OvoBoost is a highly soluble, taste- and texture-neutral protein equivalent to glycoprotein. In addition, it has developed an animal-free pepsin that acts as a digestive protein. Each has been approved for sale by the US Food and Drug Administration."

I was wondering that myself.

Maybe it's not digital tech so people don't care? Maybe they think it's an add.

I was just surprised/ happy it is a commercial reality.

Seriously? I just did then came to read comments, and now I'm upvoting it cause of the discussion right here

Its probably getting downvotes, because there's is NO fucking way it can be 'animal free' and 'egg white protein' by any stretch of the imagination and so it seems genuinely intentionally insulting to the general intellect.

If its a legit ad its no good, if its dishonest advertisement its no better, if shitpost, then its got fuck em vegan vibes which isn't generally well regarded with an abundance of upvotes here

With the context of the process its totally pure, just a wholesome GD post with a self marketing vibe/look

Without the context, its absolutely worthless, utter garbage, worth even less then no post at all, the downvotes rain down upon it, may they smite their foe.

Its ideopolitical anger incarnate.

Its a perfect storm post.

And its right tf there only to be witnessed and understood for a short period of time

Its a GOOD FUCKING day to be alive today. I live for this shit right here so thank you sm 😎😂😉

It looks like an add

Machine translation is so much fun.

NO! I will take no less than the original, incredible, editable egg. It's a egg. Doesn't try to be anything else but an egg, except that whole chicken thing that happens sometimes.

This could be used in bulk in the manufacture of foods.

Great futuristic way to get egg whites without the killing and ecological harm.

Sometimes being green is just creepy.
