It has been pretty solid for me, and the overall neutrality of the place is much appreciated. It has allowed me to speak my mind with honesty, which is something I couldn't do on Reddit.
Its very important for me too. I really dislike when comments from ordinary users are removed by mods just because the mods or other users dont agree with what they say. So we are not doing that here at least. :)

MrManager is like the cool evening/night shift manager lol. Fairly hands off, no stress, lets adults be adults and handle it. The whole ‘I trust you unless you give me a reason not to.’ Low key gets shit done without you even noticing. It ain’t for everybody, but that’s the type of management style I vibe with. Absolutely. I believe most people are good and deserve a lot of respect. Just being here on lemmy is a sign of walking your own path away from the mainstream platforms. I really respect that.

Thank you for this instance! I started on lemmy.ml but that instance have since found out how bad of a reputation that instance has despite being the "official" developer hosted one. I also prefer using the mlmym interface (old.lemmy.today) and lemmy.ml doesn't have that. I am moving my OpenRGB community here.

I wonder what time you did the maintenance, because I didn't even get on during that time, which was probably during the night.
It was down for 10 minutes at about 9.30 UTC yesterday. It was also sometimes restarting itself for about 2 minutes per day at random times before the update (because it ran out of memory) , but that wont happen anymore.
