Aren't Republicans all about states rights and less federal government involvement? I guess it's okay if they're pushing THEIR agenda and not the other way around. /s

The fact that they are sorta preemptively limiting AI control and regulation makes me wonder what they expect AI to do in the near future.
Generate (speculative only) profit that they can't do if you're putting limits on what the AI can (theoretically, but that's totally the same thing as real!) do.
