i was able to trace that back to a redditor named splurgeoverthem, who posted this in 2022 (his account is sadly deleted). He wanted to get rid of his car and this was his way of doing it. (source: https://mydiwise.com/baddiy/ , last entry so you don't have to scroll like i did lol)
hmmm
For things that are "hmmm".
Rule 1: All post titles except for meta posts should be just plain "hmmm" and nothing else, no emotes, no capitalisation, no extending it to "hmmmm" etc.
I don't think this originated in 2022, the file on my phone is dated oct 1 2020.
Hmm TinEye's image reverse search earliest find was 2022, that's what i assumed. but that might be wrong of course.
That doesn't even look real
normally i would agree, but the level of detail in the background rules out GenAI, and there are details like the line of rust on the front right corner of the car where rust flaked down onto the boat, or the badly fixed part of the boat below the passenger side door which makes me think this seems pretty genuine.
Maybe I got a little too curious, but that reg number brings up a different car so I wonder what's up with that
That all sounds like land based laws to me. Keep your muddy feet out of these waters
CLARKSOOON!!!
Would that even fit through the tunnels?
Nope, you have to put it back in four wheel drive and drive around them
hmmm
Sooo many questions…
