They also capture your car’s make, model, color, and identifying features such as dents, roof racks, and bumper stickers, often turning these into searchable data points. These cameras collect data on millions of vehicles—regardless of whether the driver is suspected of a crime. A police sergeant who is being disciplined for how he engaged with a woman he wrongly accused of theft had a tumultuous past with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office before he was hired in Columbine Valley, 9NEWS has learned.

After filing a records request, 9NEWS learned Jamie (James) Milliman was investigated for failing to follow through with official duties in December 2012 while employed as a deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Glad he's getting the attention he deserves. He acted like a chode with a fragile ego who shouldn't be anywhere near the public.

It's not a firing, but I bet it pisses him off which is better than nothing I guess.
