This has been going on for at least several months

Doesn't matter how many times I hide a post, mark as read, they still keep coming back on my main feed and it's driving me f'king bananas

edit: I should also mention I've gone through, in various iterations, all the basic troubleshooting things. I've cleared, logged/relogged, uninstalled, updated, joined/left the beta, blah blah. The issue always comes back

I've noticed that if I rotate my device, and then back, the feed contains posts that have been read. They show as read, faded, but are in the feed until I refresh. Then they go away. I don't know if that's related or not.

That's very interesting and I'm sure there's some kind of relation.

I know that boost'd aware that the posts have been hidden and read, because it greys them out... but ofc it still displays them

However, I never use landscape orientation, I'm locked to portrait 100% of the time

Oh my God it will. not. fucking. stop.

I can get a temporary reprieve from this Insanity by uninstalling and reinstalling but honestly, this is not sustainable

Please Dev please I have supported you for years, please fix this bug! It is making the app completely unusable. I am getting ready to abandon this app and go to a new one - I'm not kidding.

It is present on my Samsung s9+ with Android 10, and it is present on my Pixel 9 with Android 16. It has nothing to do with anything on my end. Please ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  • If you hide a post, it is marked as hidden on the server, and it should not appear again on your feed. Make sure that the option Show hidden in the top right overflow menu is unchecked.
  • If a post is marked as read, it is marked as read on the server, and it should not appear again if Show read posts is unchecked for your account in Settings - Account preferences. Make sure to save the settings with the button "Save" before leaving the screen.

Both options only work for logged in users.
