Can they unkill all those they killed? If not, then the odds aren't good.
Most Americans are idiots with the memory of a goldfish, so the unfortunate truth is probably yes. In fact, it's basically Israel's playbook for the last several decades. They commit genocide until international sentiment finally turns against them, then call a "ceasefire" where they still regularly commit crimes against Palestineans, and wait 5-10 years for everyone to forget their atrocities before they manufacture a reason to resume the genocide.
I mean, I want to see the genocidal state dismantled, but more important than my anger is the welfare of Palestine. So, Israel just has to accept the Arab League peace offer, dismantle the aparteid state, withdraw to the 1967 borders (dismantling all settlements), recognize the state of Palestine, and co-exist in peace. That's all it would take to win my support.
So, basically, not a chance. A genocidal, terrorist state doesn't change its stripes.
The real test here is for Americans; can they finally learn that Isreal is a genocidal apartheid state, and agreeing to a ceasefire doesn't change that?
