No, no...he's got a point.

The UN has failed.

4/5 from the security council are either full fascist, or rapidly descending into it. France is a mess, and has a bad record too such as with Haiti.

So far it has succeeded at its main goal: the members of the security council have not gone into open war with each other.

Isn't this what happened to League of Nations? The precursor for the United Nations.

The League of Nations couldn't function because of the power of the powerful or because of the lack of the power of the powerful .... any world organization is either beholden to the powerful or is taken apart because of the powerful.

In the end ... it's always the same ... it's always been the same for thousands of years ... Jungle Rules ... only the strong get to control everything ... we are all just glorified apes fighting over bananas and space in the jungle.

The UN Security Council is corrupt and unfair.

I find it funny how every few years every country bar the U.S.A and Israel votes to end the Cuba embargo, and since the U.S is on the Security Council, they can just ignore that.

“The idea that the richest people in the world that can tell people who they can elect, it should be taken head on. Ignorance and hate and misinterpretation of language should be called for what it is.

“It has done immense damage on the discourse of how we speak to each other. There is a necessary respect and you can’t have that respect unless you regard the people you are dealing with as an equal.”

I usually agree with and appriciate him, but one of the five security council members aren't leaving. Also, one of the HQs is in NY

So? This wouldn't be an excuse to not exclude, say, the Third Reich, would it?
