It's hard to take Rodnyansky seriously on this topic, when he was the one behind multiple pieces of russian propaganda, even pre-2014, often showing Ukrainians as quirky simpletons and/or drunkards, or just less-than. And I agree that people's opinions can change, and it's good that he has come to his senses, but it's hypocritical of him to pass judgements on this topic.
