I totally see what you mean. Very mixed feelings about this.
Energy prices will go down soon.. right?
Not sure about te UK but there are grids wherein the supply price is pegged to the most expensive and least used so as to encourage providers to produce the cheapest energy.
It isnt a bad idea hut it requires an off ramp for the beenfits to be passed on to consumers.
That is how it works on the UK.
I believe our electric prices are linked to gas prices. I think it's to do with it being our main source of generating electricity but I could be wrong.
Not exactly: as pointed above, in the UK the cost of electricity is set by the most expansive provider that is needed. Most of the time that is gas. So electricity cost is high because gas costs are high
