I hope that doesn't mean Ukraine will bombing civilians directly. I know Russia has been doing it since day one, but it doesn't make it right to do.

Maybe bombing Russian cities is the only way to rattle the population? But I don't know, how is the Russian population doing at the moment? Is all just fine and dandy? I read articles about an impeding collapse, but that doesn't seem to have happened yet.

Aside from the moral questions, bombing enemy civilians strengthens the resolve of the opposing side rather than weakening it. It's popular at home to bomb opposing cities, but it isn't strategically effective.

Ukraine doesn't have the munitions capacity to do anything but hit where it hurts. This means military and industrial targets.

Russian trying to take down Putin would be more deadly than bombing the cities
