According to the latest Nielsen streaming report, Gunsmoke is one of the top 10 most-watched acquired series across all measured streaming services.
How specific.
It sounds like they're just splitting out original programming, so from a service's point of view it's not a weird thing to track.
It was a good show, and parts of it hold up well as casual entertainment

90's nostalgia is so strong people are even recreating the boom Gun Smoke had during peak cable when new channels were desperate for content.
Pfft, it ain't Gunsmoke if the Marshal ain't played by Bill Conrad.
But seriously, I might give the TV version a try, as I definitely enjoy the original radio show.
