I half remember something like that happening in Brazil. The right proposes something the left approves, there's no fight, they realize their mistake and start opposing their own idea.
I'm reminded of the time Mitch McConnell filibustered his own bill because too many Democrats supported it.
Why does your whole country have like 500 stations? The UK has 5 times that and is a hell of a lot smaller.
