Wouldn't rendering still take a lot of time on it though?
Depends on your definition of a "lot of time".
You could just say "yes" 👀
I could also say "broombooroom". Or "pine".
@Lembot_0006@programming.dev what's the joke going on here ??🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
@TheBat@lemmy.world @GregorGizeh@lemmy.zip
No joke, i just found it amusing the other commenter was tiptoeing around saying plainly that an older machine will, most certainly, be slower than a current one when performing any processing task.
Doesnt mean it wouldnt suit your needs though
@GregorGizeh@lemmy.zip I meant to ask @Lembot_0006@programming.dev why he mentioned that broombroom and pine.
Because I can say those words too. I know many-many words. Some are really strange. Like "coherer" or "abbatoir".
@Lembot_0006@programming.dev the machines that l'm talking of have been lying idle since 15 years. I don't know their specifications, l expect the ram to be 4gb at the most, if not 2gb. I don't even expect it to be DDR3. I don't expect it to contain any GPU.
