It's the old gang coming together, highly unlikely they'll mess it up.

Joe alone is the heart and soul of the top episodes in all three series. Top ten episodes, he's a writer for most, and heavily consulted on the rest. And creative producers... they do exactly that, keep the show on track. I don't see THE Mallozzi giving his name to a show if it's not up to par with what he'd write and produce.
