Wisemans Ferry is a town on the northern outskirts of Sydney and the south-west of the Central Coast region in the state of New South Wales, Australia, located 75 kilometres north north-west of Sydney. It is located in the Sydney local government areas of the Hornsby Shire, The Hills Shire, City of Hawkesbury and the Central Coast Council. The town is a tourist spot with picnic and barbecue facilities. As well as a rich convict and colonial heritage in the area, the Dharug National Park and Yengo National Park are close by.

I kind of admire that you set up a bot to drive some conversation from random Sydney places. Have only driven past wiseman’s, but thanks for the inspiration for a weekend jaunt.

The bot account is being used to post these but it isn't scripted atm. I've been logging in to the bot account once a week. It would be nice to have a bot that could do something like this but I don't have time or skill. When I get around to scheduling the bot to post the weekly thread it will just be a new title and thread, unfortunately no picture or info.

Wisemans is nice. Hard to get to without a car. I always wanted to go to Spencer which is not far from there. But you also need a car that can handle dirt roads as there's a few of those once you cross the river at Wisemans (I'm pretty sure the ferry is free).

Oh right haha dedication. I wouldn’t mind trying to set up a fedi bot but probably have to run my own server to avoid spamming people with test junk.

Never even heard of Spencer, sounds interesting

Pretty sure I was using lemmy-post-bot.I don't think it's been updated in a while.
