Imo any of this is too late.
The US portion of China trade is 10%.
They can afford to stop it and wait, while there gonna be riots and empty shelves here.

Trump tried it earlier this year and had to pullback because no one was running to sign some sort of disproportionate unequal deal haha. He just won't get that, US industrial advantage is gone cuz y all wanted cheap iPhones and corpos wanted cheap labor. Finita

My thoughts exactly. If you want to destroy the US software industry, this is a great way to go about it. Coupled with making it as difficult to get trained as a software developer, of course.
