The place for all things in the Monster Taming Genre. Supporting developers, artists, content creators and Players alike.
This community is for all things related to monster taming games, especially non-Pokemon games. While we love Pokemon games, the focus on this subreddit is non-Pokemon games, and we put even more focus on indie monster taming games.
Monster Taming games are games where you "tame," catch," befriend," etc. monsters. The genre has exploded in new games in just the past years!

Digimon World DS. It had the fun speed stat mechanic where a sufficiently high one let your mons have multiple turns in a row.
That demo for time stranger was pretty great so that one's probably going to by my answer mext month.
Also love that one! It's one of the first I've played on the DS back in the day. Tho I never realized that the multiple turns were due to the speed mechanic, that's actually a really cool thing to have. Wonder if there are more monster taming games that do this.
Have you seen the absolute spam about Digimon Story Time Stranger on Ed's channel? He got the demo and the game early and is going absolutely wild with content on it, it's crazy
